On one Saturday per month,  normally from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. meet at the 1st Street Beach Parking Lot (where River’s End Cafe is located), corner of 1st Street and Ocean Avenue in Seal Beach and help us keep trash off of our beach and out of our ocean. Kids of all ages are welcome!

As always, we provide parking passes, garbage bags, protective gloves, drinking water, hand sanitizers (AND certificates if you need one for school credit or community service).

This weekend the 11th Annual Katin Surfing Championships continue.  Come out to watch the competition! 

This year it will be a two-day event that will begin at 7am Saturday morning. Besides the exciting action in the water there is plenty to do on the beach. Sponsor tents will line the shore throughout the two-day event with tons of giveaways and new cutting edge products to be showcased. There will also be a raffle with tons of products from Katin Surf Shop, Harbour Surf Shop, Stamps Surfboards, Bettis Surfboards, Labreau Surfboards, Rich Payne Surfboards, Mana Surfboards, Bruno Surfboards, Bruce Jones Surfboards and much more. Thousands of dollars in prizes will be given away throughout the event with the big-ticket items given away at the awards dinner. This is an event you dont want to miss…see ya at the beach!!!!

Pier Plaza Farmer’s Market  – A Part of the Friday Afternoon Experience at Huntington Beach, California

Farmer’s Market Huntington Beach is a coastal food shopping pleasure for tourists and locals who seek certified farm fresh, California grown produce. Held most Friday afternoons in Huntington Beach at Pier Plaza parking lot, it runs from around Noon to 5 p.m.  This Farmer’s Market is often held in conjunction with a shopping fair of hand-crafted gift items such as jewelry, clothing, rugs, artwork, plaques, home decor and much more from around 50 – 100 crafters.

The pier plaza Farmer’s Market s in Huntington Beach occurs each Friday except during the U.S. Open of Surfing in late July.

Farmer’s Market is an outdoor market sponsored by the Orange County Farm Bureau. Flowers, fruit, breads, nuts and a few specialty foods are sold fresh to the consumer. This Farmer’s Market has been voted by media and the public as one of the most scenic outdoor markets in Southern California !

SEAL BEACH–This seaside city has become the latest in Orange County to prohibit the establishment of medical marijuana facilities within city borders.

Council members voted Monday night in favor of a new ordinance that will ensure medical marijuana dispensaries are kept out.
